Jacqueline Pawl spent her teen years trapped between the pages of books–exploring Hogwarts, journeying across countless fantasy worlds, and pulling heists with Kaz Brekker and his Crows.

 

But, because no dashing prince or handsome Fae has come to sweep her off to a strange new world (yet), she writes Young Adult epic fantasy novels full of cutthroat courtiers, ruthless assassins, unexpected plot twists, and epic battles. She is a Slytherin, and it shows in her books.

She currently resides in Scotland, where she can be found chasing will-o’-the-wisps, riding unicorns, and hunting haggis in the Highlands.
